OIP.jpg

This is where you will find what the babies are eating, what vaccines they will get, supplements, any other recommendations I have!

What is my puppy eating?

Your puppy will come home eating 'Fromm' the puppy formula, this is the exact bag! If you decide to feed something else, I will send you home with a small bag of this so you can switch them over. And if you wanted to try another formula or brand, but don't know where to start let me know and I can point you in the right direction. Just recently became a brand ambassador for this wonderful company so I'll be given the chance to send you home with coupons!

Supplement recommendation

Another excited partnership we just started is with NuVet!  I prefer the powder here since we free feed, but they also have a 'wafer' form. The moment I put this on the adults and babies food they go CRAZY. So, if you have another dog that might be picky this would be a great thing to try out, plus getting all the benefits from it is a win win. They also provide a joint supplement that everyone here gets! Since dachshunds are more prone to get IVDD and have back issues this is something that can help prevent it! I will send you and your new puppy home with a sample that you can try out. If this is going to be your only dog or if you have multiples in the household everyone can benefit from it! Our code is '978768' for 15% off on Nuvet.com/978768

What vaccines do I need to get/what have they had?

SHGJ_edited.jpg

This picture shown is the exact vaccine that your puppy has received at 6 weeks old! It is the first booster of a set of three that they will need. They are dewormed at week 2, 4, and 6 here. This will all be recorded and written in your pamphlet that I will send home your new puppy with. I would recommend getting him/her into the vet the following week after getting them so you can get on a schedule with your vet! They will give you their recommendations on what vaccines are required/suggested ones, but I always stay away from as a dachshund owner is the 'Lepto' vaccine. Dachshunds are prone to shot reactions and this one has never agreed with any of mine! I will let you follow your own discretion while deciding, but please do your own research and be your dogs advocate!

treats & bones

In the bag I will send you home with will also include a bag of treats that I would highly recommend! 'Bocces'.. I highly rate this company because they use limited ingredients in their treats. For the first week I would limit the treat and bone intake just because as a puppy their tummy can't handle the same thing adults can! For potty training rewarding you could break up 2 that would be small enough to be given throughout the day.  Anything that is linked on my amazon storefront is a product I would highly suggest to check out! Keep their treats and bones high quality and limited ingredients, so you can keep their tummies and stool in the best shape!

Click the link below to see anything else that might not have been explained above! Crates, pens, beds and stuff I've all personally used are linked here. I would also suggest looking at Marshalls/Homegoods/TjMaxx for other puppy related items because you can get them for a better price!
